We are looking for an AP Psychology Teacher for the international division of a public high school located in Beijing. It offers students aged 15 to 18 an AP-based pathway to leading universities in the US and beyond, with most teaching delivered in English and classes of 16 to 25 students. The school takes a long-term view of its faculty, with a compensation structure designed to support both stability and career development.Job detailsTeach AP Psychology to students aged 15 to 18 and prepare them for the AP examPlan and deliver engaging lessons for classes of 16 to 25 studentsMonitor student progress and give clear, constructive feedback to students and parentsContribute 4 hours per week to extra-curricular activitiesWork with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculumCreate a supportive, safe and engaging learning environmentTeaching load of under 20 class hours per week, plus 16 preparation hoursRequirementsExcellent spoken and written EnglishBachelor's degree or above with a major or minor in Psychology; master's degree in Education or the subject preferredTeaching licence requiredAt least 3 years of teaching experience, including AP PsychologyTeaching experience in American high schools preferredEnthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural settingSalary and benefitsMonthly salary of 26,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and backgroundSalary paid over 12 months, including social insuranceFlight allowanceAnnual salary increase based on individual and school performanceAnnual performance bonusWork permit and visa costs covered by the schoolMedical insurance fully covered through social insurance plus supplementary commercial coverSummer and winter holidays (winter holiday around 30 days)Public holidaysOne- or two-year contract, renewable with a longer term
