All while understanding that together we are even better.Job Description:Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions.Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents all requirements in appropriate log books or computer systems.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]Ability to understand the needs of the customer and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous, professional, and efficient manner. [Required]Flexibility and ability to adapt to change. [Required]Ability to work under stress and deadlines.
